01 / 2–3 years
Preschool
A gentle beginning: making connections, exploring with the senses and finding comfort in familiar routines.
For many children, nursery is a first experience of a group setting. Talk with us about familiar routines, communication and the ways your child likes to play. Ask how settling-in arrangements will be adapted to their needs.
02 / 3–4 years
Foundation Stage 1
More questions, more discoveries. Play opens up language, early friendships and everyday problem-solving.
This stage creates opportunities to share ideas, explore patterns and develop stories through play. Ask how adults notice your child’s interests and use them to shape the learning experience.
03 / 4–5 years
Foundation Stage 2
Growing confidence for the next chapter, with opportunities to practise early literacy, number skills and independence.
The next step is about more than academic tasks. Ask how the programme balances early reading, writing and number experiences with communication, independence and social confidence.
